NTC backs PCC demands

Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has extended its total support to the demands put forth by the Public Coordination Committee (PCC), saying the demands were were “legitimate and just” for the benefit of all Nagas and the coming generation. 
NTC media cell in a press release reminded the state government that it must meet the core demands, if it was serious about good governance, transparency and fighting corruption. 
NTC further appealed to all right-thinking citizens of Nagaland to extend solidarity as the fight was for the future of all Nagas. 
The demands of Public Coordination Committee were– revocation of October 26 Office Memorandum (OM) that scrapped Grade III posts from the purview of NPSC, set up Lokayukta as per the demands of ACAUT incorporating all the points that have been raised by ACAUT Nagaland and not merely passing a Lokayukta bill for name sake without any teeth and also to declare answer keys for all stages of exams conducted by NPSC to remove manipulation.
