NTDA organizes blood donations drive

In view of the huge demand of blood due to the surge in dengue cases, Nagaland Tyre Dealers Association (NTDA) carried out blood donation drive at District Hospital Dimapur on Sunday.


CSOs comprising of Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) also attended the drive by extending support to NTDA’s initiative.


In a short briefing, NTDA general secretary John Aier said the association took the intuitive to help those in need of blood. He maintained that more than 50-60 members have donated blood and said that it will be carrying out such drive if needed arises.


DUCCF president Zasivikho Zakiesato appreciated the initiative of NTDA, stating that such drive was the need of the hour amidst the reported case of dengue in Dimapur.


He also appraised that DUCCF comprising of 97 colonies, 23 wards will ensure to convey about the drive being carried out. Dr Temsu thanked the NTDA for coming forward to donate blood at this juncture.
