The founding members of the Nagaland Transparency Public Rights Advocacy & Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO) have expressed regret that their organization, initially aimed at addressing corruption in Naga society, has been misused by one person named Bill Lotha, tarnishing their image.
In a joint statement, Keduta Chakesang, Phemching Konyak, Zuchamo Patton, Temjen Mar, Albert Kire, and Ikato Sumi said that the founding members neither convened formal meetings nor held consultations with its executive members. They distanced themselves from any press release issued in the name of NTPRADAO, asserting that they were unaware of such actions.
They acknowledged that the Public Health Engineering (PHE) had clearly provided the details of implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) on November 9, 2024.
The members asserted that, as founding members, they would not support such an unfit leader and soon proceed for government registration, and strengthen the organisation as per the original aim.
Clarifying that they were neither against nor for any government, department, ministry, organisation, etc, they however asserted that as concerned citizens they stood firmly for and would fight for what was right for public, while cautioning against anyone dragging their names or manipulation.
