NTWTA felicitates students for academic excellence

DIMAPUR: The Nagaland Two Wheeler Taxi Association (NTWTA) organised a felicitation programme for the children of its riders who excelled in the HSLC and HSSLC 2026 examinations at 2K Hotel, Officers Hill, on May 16.
Speaking at the programme, KMC Councillor Vimhalie Pienyii highlighted the importance of discipline in life. He spoke on physical discipline through regular physical activities, emotional self-discipline, and spiritual discipline through faith and belief in God.
He also encouraged students to understand the struggles of their parents, maintain social discipline, and practise proper time management by having a clear routine and direction in life. Describing students as the future leaders of society, he urged them to guide their friends towards positive paths through good leadership. He further shared the importance of the “Three R’s” in life – Rise, Reset, and Refocus, and described the present stage as the beginning of their journey.
Encouraging the students to work hard and pursue their dreams with determination, he also advised parents to respect the aspirations of their children and avoid forcing them into careers they are not interested in pursuing.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Grace Kath, while Kethosilie Sorhie invoked blessings for the programme. The welcome address was delivered by Vibeituonuo K Solo. The programme concluded with the felicitation of the students by NTWTA president Keneisalie Belho.
