Nagaland University (NU) has been ranked 34th out of 51 Central Universities in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) University Rankings 2025 with an overall index score of 924.03.
The IIRF University Rankings, released on June 13, 2025, are among the most respected higher education rankings in India. The rankings are based on multiple factors such as the quality of teaching, research output, industry collaboration, infrastructure, and student outcomes.
This year, Jawaharlal Nehru University bagged the top spot followed by University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University and Jamia Millia Islamia.
