NU Vice Chancellor engages in national dialogue on digital education

The Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof. J.K. Patnaik, met with the Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, during the ongoing two-day All Central Universities Vice Chancellors’ Conference held in Kevadia, Gujarat.
According to PRO Nagaland University, Prof. Patnaik served as a panellist in a focused discussion group deliberating on the SWAYAM initiative, a flagship digital education platform launched by the Government of India. The group explored strategies to broaden the reach of online education and improve access to quality digital learning resources nationwide.
The SWAYAM platform is designed to bridge the digital divide, offering high-quality courses to learners across diverse regions and educational backgrounds. Prof. Patnaik’s active involvement underscored Nagaland University’s dedication to embracing technology in education and aligning with national efforts to promote inclusive and innovative learning methods.
