NUHM organises free medical camps

National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) Dimapur conducted free medical camps at Veterinary colony, Eros Lane, Jasokie and Sunrise Colony in the month of February.  The counseling on health information’s, proper nutrition and timely ANC check up were also provided to the pregnant women by nurses. The medical team was headed by MO in-charge UPHC, Burma Camp, Dimapur, Urban consultant, GNMs and ANMs of UPHC, Burma Camp and UPHC, Duncan Bosti supported by the Urban ASHA.
NUHM has covered 23 wards in Urban Dimapur and conducted two free health camps every month under its jurisdiction. Altogether 283 patients, including pregnant women, elderly and children came to the camp to avail free health services.
