Nukhu issues court affidavit nullifying support to Kaito

Legislator of 17 Chizami A/c Deo Nukhu, who had left the Sovima camp of the NPF(Kaito group) on January 21, issued a sworn court affidavit Thursday, declaring the withdrawal of whatever commitment “in written or any other legal paper furnished to the Governor of Nagaland, to the Election Commission of India or any document” executed by appending his signature in support of G.Kaito Aye, “ in whatsoever manner” .
As per photocopies of the court affidavit handed to media at Hotel de Oriental Grand here, Deo Nukhu also declared all such documents “null and void for any future use after coming to know the constitutional, legal provision and the established democratic procedure and practices”.
Further, Deo Nukhu in his affidavit, also stated that all documents executed and signed with NPF party sight from the date of issue election ticket and his support extended to the leadership of T.R.Zeliang, chief minister of Nagaland “remains valid”.
In the court affidavit signed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Deo also stated that he has made the declaration on his own will and that all statements made in para 1 to 3 of the affidavit “are true to the best of my knowledge and in sound mind and robust health and not has been concealed”.
Meanwhile, based on the “missing report”filed , that Deo Nukhu was “kidnapped” OC Diphupar, Dimapur met Deo Nukhu at the hotel Thursday. Deo confirmed that he returned to Kohima on his own will and therefore was not kidnapped as claimed. The OC told media persons that after meeting Deo, the casue will be withdrawn on Friday.
