Nuklutoshi encourages youngsters to be productive

Carewell school, Duncan, Dimapur celebrated its 25th anniversary at the school campus, on Saturday.
Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Nuklutoshi graced the event as the chief guest. In his address, Nuklutoshi encouraged the young generation to be productive assets of the society.


He stated that the 25 years celebration was a time of thanksgiving to God, and that the development of society in all sphere were the testimonies of a successful mind. Nuklutoshi affirmed that the first duty of a student was to have clear direction, focus and to have dedication in one’s effort and added that the bottom line of present generation education system was to learn, relearn and continue to learn.


He also mentioned that the era of mere certificate and white-collar job was over, and said that the students have to be best among the peers to obtain something worthy in life, and urged the students to dive in global context in order to cope up with advance tech world.


Considering the past record of strong commitment and fast forward achievement of the institution, he expressed confidence that the school would further help the students to explore new ideas to have profound impact in global society at large and Naga society in particular.


Director & Co – founder Carewell school Prakash Dev, in his address highlighted the journey of the school since 1998. He also stated that since the inception of the school it has earned considerable reputation for providing quality education and creating atmosphere for learning.


He also stated that the twenty-five years of celebration was a sign of reaching milestone of educational institution with progress achievement, developing and fulfilling mission on imparting holistic education on making future leaders, the society needs today.


Dev stated that every great thing has a humble beginning and success were not instant, but with commitment towards goals the results would be fruitful. He further mentioned that everyone should help each other for a better tomorrow, and called on the society for support and cooperation inorder to take the institution to further heights.


Earlier, the programme was chaired by Tiala Longkumer, invocation by Rev. Daniel S. Shayan, headmistress Diethonino Seyie welcomed the assembled guests, short speech by Kaikho Mao, alumni message by Dr. Chichanbeni and Alimen, vote of thanks by Mhademo.


The other highlights of the programme included a glimpse of Carewell school over the years, felicitation of the teachers, followed by cultural & entertainment in the second session.
