Nagaland University Students’ Union (NUSU), Lumami has set April 13, as deadline for the Nagaland University to resolve the “genuine grievances” faced by the students’ community. Failing to resolve the issue within the given deadline, the NUSU (L) president, K. Chumseli Anar and general secretary Esther Lohe warned that the union will be compelled to go ahead with a “Gandhian peaceful demonstration”. The demand of NUSU (L) was immediate resumption of eight buses services during weekly outings and bus service to girls’ hostel. The union also demanded that Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to remain in station immediately, medical facilities in the university must be improved and health service provider to remain open even during national holidays and weekends.
