NUV observes one-day ‘jubilee challenge programme’

Naga United Village (NUV) held a one -day golden jubilee challenge programme on September 9 at public ground, NUV for the upcoming golden jubilee celebration which would be held on February 8, 2018.
During a short speech, deputy commissioner of police, Dimapur, Vecipa Vise appealed to the public that people need to stay united and co-operate with one another so as set an example, despite diversity. Project director, Tuensang, Chubawati Chang encouraged citizens to work together for the upcoming golden jubilee as every individual had an important role to play for the development and betterment of the village and society. Assistant inspector general, Temsuba Aier also thanked the pioneers of the village for their contribution and appealed to the citizens to continue carrying out the vision of their founders.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by chairman NUV, Kuthokou Shijoh, invocation was pronounced by pastor Ao Baptist Church NUV, Satem, Shihoni Zhimomi led the prayer for the upcoming jubilee programme, special song was presented by Jano Nyekha and the programme ended with a prayer by pastor united Phom Baptist Church, Chingbam. A brief history about the village was shared by advisor and NUVBC, C Danyi Lea and brief report from golden jubilee organizing committee was given by convener Reyopoyi Nyekha. About 400 village leaders and elders attended the programme.
