NVBDCP anti-malaria month culminates

National Vector Borne Disease Control Programe (NVBDCP) under chief medical officer, Mon organised “anti-malaria month” which commenced on June 7 and culminated on June 28.

In a press release, district vector borne officer, Mon Dr Lolekhol Pucho informed that the team covered 10 villages: Shamnyu village, Kenchenshu village, Jakphang village, Sowa village, Totok Chingkho village, Longkei village, Wanching village, Tangnyu village, Lapa Lampong village and Nangtan village.

Activities such as advocacy and dissimilation of IEC materials, poster campaign, miking, proper use of LLIN, house to house visit, etc were conducted. During the ‘anti-malaria month”, 20 blood samples were collected which were all tested negative. Strict COVID-19 SOPs were maintained.
