NVCO Tseminyu unit has drawn attention to the enrolment of RSBY under Tseminyu town, wherein the directorate of Health and Family Welfare had committed mistake while preparing the name list of enrolment for Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) under Tseminyu town.
A press note by Nagaland Voluntary Consumers Organization (NVCO) Tseminyu unit president, John Semy stated that whereas, under Tseminyu town there was more than 1500 house hold, however, on December 14 the enrolment party came for enrolment of RSBY but to their utter surprise there were hardly 20-25 household names listed only.
It stated that citizens were informed that unless their names were listed no other could be enrolled. Therefore, many citizen who were enrolled in the previous years came with their RSBY card but it was of no help.
In this regard, the citizens of the Tseminyu town are in much tension since.
Nagaland Voluntary Consumers Organization stated that when some citizens cross checked the enrolment list of Tseminyu village it was found that the citizens of Tseminyu town were enlisted in Tseminyu village.
NVCO Tseminyu unit therefore has questioned the concerned department as to who prepared the list for enrolment to RSBY for Tseminyu sub-division; whether the authority know that Tseminyu town and Tseminyu village are two different places and that the authority should initiate appropriate action against the responsible officer for such blunder.
NVCO also asked the concerned authority to fix another date for enrolment for Tseminyu town with corrected list for the benefit of the citizens.
