Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has appealed to the state government to reconsider its decision to lease out toll tax collection to private parties in the interest of the public. In a press release, NWHD president, Hukheli Wotsa, said that over the years the toll tax collected by DMC has been more transparent, bringing all round development in Dimapur, as compared to toll tax collected by the leassee. The women hoho also stated that it fully support the demand put forth by other Dimapur civil society organizations for the welfare of the people of Dimapur.
