NWHD commends Police for raid on illegal sex rackets

DIMAPUR: The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has expressed appreciation to the Dimapur police for successfully conducting a raid on illegal sex rackets in the city on July 31, during which 11 women and 3 men were arrested.
In a statement issued on Saturday, NWHD acknowledged the efforts of the ADCP (Women & Juvenile), the Officer-in-Charge of the Women Police Station and all personnel under the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, for their prompt action in addressing human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur commended the police for their timely intervention, noting that such operations are vital in protecting vulnerable individuals and upholding the safety and dignity of society. As a women’s organisation, The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur reiterated that its foremost concern remains the safety, dignity and well-being of women and minors.
The organisation expressed hope that the raid would not be a one-time operation but part of a sustained effort to curb human trafficking, illegal sex rackets, and the exploitation of women and children in Dimapur and beyond.
