Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) and Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) have condemned the alleged false impersonation of minister of Horticulture and Women Resources, Salhoutounuo Kruse in various social media platforms.
In a press release, NWHD information and publicity secretary, said that the act was an “deliberate attempt to malign”, the minister by “unscrupulous mind-sets” which has not only demonstrated a complete lack of moral rectitude but also exhibits a blatant disregard for the principles of honesty and integrity that should be upheld by all right thinking individuals.
NWHD said such false impersonation and malicious propaganda would only set a dangerous precedent allowing opportunistic individuals to exploit and manipulate public perception to further their own personal agendas.
NWHD further said Salhoutounuo was a “beacon of light to the Naga Women community as a whole” and therefore urged the concerned authorities to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible so that they face the full weight of legal consequences for their “malevolent intentions” directed not only to the minister in particular, but also the Naga Women community in general.
TSUD: Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur while condemning the “cowardice act” for impersonating and dragging the name of Salhoutounuo Kruse in the ongoing Manipur crisis in social media platforms has appealed to the concerned authorities to investigate and take action against the culprit.
