NYKS cleanliness drive in Dimapur

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Nagaland State as part of “Swachh Bharat-Clean India Mission” organised cleanliness dive on July 12 in the areas adjacent to the railways station and Nagaland State Transport compound, Dimapur. 164 participants from different districts of the state participated in the cleanliness drive.  The cleanliness programme was conducted as part of the Orientation Training of National Youth Volunteers which got underway on July 4 at Youth Hostel, Dimapur and would conclude on July 18. The NYKS were established in the year 1972 with the objective of providing avenues for the rural youths to take part in the process of nation building as well providing opportunities for the development of their personality and skills.
