One day mega event under the banner “Yuva Utsav, Yuva Samvaad-India@2047” was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Zunheboto, under the ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, government of India on October 8 at Town Hall Zunheboto on theme, “sense of duty among the citizens”.
According to a DIPR report, the fest saw competitions under various categories including young artists camp (painting), young writers camp (poem), photography contest, declamation contest and cultural folk song (group event).
The event began with a formal session wherein, youth convention resource persons, EAC Zunheboto, N Nyamok Konyak spoke on various government sponsored schemes while advisor, ZAPO, Kikheto Muru with clinical psychologist DMHP, Atolimi Khujumi and DPO DAPCU Zunheboto, Hokishe Chophy spoke on various other topics while interacting with the attendees.
Earlier, the programme commenced with invocation by Pastor Tenyimi Church, Vechulo Doulo; DYO Zunheboto delivered the keynote address and ADC Zunheboto, Moakumzuk Tsudir exhorted the attendees while Khekivi Yeptho and Katolu G. Yeptho enlightened the programme with special presentations.
