NZP, TSA India observes ‘68th Wildlife Week’

Nagaland Zoological Park (NZP) in collaboration with Turtle Survival Alliance (TSA) India observed the “68th Wildlife Week” on October 7-8 at NZP premises by organising competitions, wildlife quiz, and campaign.
A press release by TSA India informed that the two-day event was flagged off with eloquent conservation insights from the chief guest of the event, chief wildlife warden and additional principal chief conservator of forests, Ved Pal Singh and director of Nagaland Zoological Park, Dr. C Zupeni Tsanglai.
A total of 120 students from Unity College, Tetso College, Eastern Christian College, and St. Joseph’s University participated in a series of events including face mask painting competition, wildlife quiz, a pledge signing campaign, and distribution of information leaflets.
Students were motivated to interact with zoo visitors and spread the news of wildlife conservation. The chief guest also inaugurated two electric rickshaws for senior and child visitors at the zoo.
