NZPO, KIN reject PS Haokip’s book ‘Zalengam’

Nagaland Zeliang People Organization (NZPO) and Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN), rejected and condemned the context of the book “Zalengam” written by ‘SS president’ KNO, P S Haokip.

This was declared after the NZPO convened a joint meeting with KIN on October 11, at the residence of president NZPO, Kevipele Iheilung in Jalukie. A press statement from NZPO president Kevipele Iheilung and KIN president L. Singsit informed that during the meeting, the members thoroughly discussed the controversial writings and its undesirable object in the book, which mentioned the history of Peren district, claiming that it was devoid of actual facts and borne of the author’s personal figment of imaginations, which has no bearing on the relationship between the Zeliang people and Kuki people of Nagaland.

In this regard, the organizations requested all right-thinking people not to give credence to the contents of the book and not to do anything to disturb peaceful co-existence of both the tribes in Nagaland in general and Peren district in particular.
