OBASS–NC deliberates on agendas

DIMAPUR:

The Old Boys Association of Sainik Schools, Nagaland Chapter (OBASS–NC) convened its executive meeting on February 28 at its headquarters in Chümoukedima, presided over by president Cadet H.K. Khullu, IAS (retd. additional chief secretary).
The meeting deliberated on various important agendas concerning the functioning and future activities of the association. Adviser to OBASS cadet L. Kire (retd. principal secretary), vice presidents Cadet Er. Levi Rengma (ex-MLA) and Cadet Yangba Konyak, IPS (DIG), executive members Cadet Dr. G. Kemp (retd. director of Medical Services) and Cadet V. Nagi, general secretary Cadet Zubemo Lotha Tsanglao, president OBASSI Cadet Kikru, Cadet Bendang, and others attended the meeting.
After detailed deliberations, the executive committee unanimously resolved to convene the General Body Meeting in October 2026. The house also resolved to initiate an annual membership drive along with lifetime membership enrolment. Treasurer OBASS, Cadet Neiba Pienyu, was entrusted with the responsibility of following up on the membership process.
Further, the committee inducted Cadet Ar. Lyeanth as the statistic secretary, who will be responsible for updating and maintaining the membership database of alumni from all eight Sainik Schools in the state.
