OCM donates gift hampers to jail inmates

Officers Club of Mokokchung (OCM) on the occasion of the 70th India’s Independence Day interacted with the district Jail inmates of Mokokchung and donated gift hampers consisting of personalized items to each jail inmates besides water filter and sports goods. According to DIPR report, the members emphasized on the inmates to come out clean and become assets for their own society and thus prove oneself worthy of leading a good life. OCM members Dr. D.K Chetri and Er. T. Imlisunep Ao gave short exhortations. The programme was presided by secretary, Er. Temsu Wati Ao. Invocation was pronounced by Moa, chaplain of the jail while the gift items were handed over to the inmates by Liboni Humtsoe, project director of DRDA in presence of the jail authorities.
