Old Changsu Union Kohima (OCUK) celebrated its golden jubilee at Kohima Lotha Hoho Ki on July 24, under the theme, “God has done great things for us” from 2 Samuel 7: 18-19.
In a press release by OCUK chairman L. Thungpen Shitiri and general secretary, N. Renben Yanthan stated that, the programme was blessed by the union executive members on behalf of OCUK members in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
The function was led by N. Renben Yanthan while the history of OCUK formation was narrated and shared by L. Thungpen Shitiri.
Treasurer Nzanbemo Patton shared the purpose on jubilee meaning and pronounced prayer of blessing for its members. Union vice chairman K. Mhathung Ngullie spoke on the theme and the celebration concluded with a cake cutting.
