Kohima district administration has informed that the odd-even system for vehicular movement has been enforced in the declared containment zones– Kohima Municipal areas and New capital complex, effective 7 p.m. of May 5 till May 12.
In an order, deputy commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie stated that vehicles ending with odd number– 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 shall be allowed to ply on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Vehicles number ending with 2, 4, 6, 8 and 0 will be allowed to ply only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
