Officials inspects Dimapur railway station

With around 1400 stranded persons expected to arrive on a special train from Chennai on May 22, state government officials Thursday inspected the railways station to ensure smooth coordination and movement of the returnees.

According to reports, the district-wise returnees include– Dimapur-569, Kohima-72, Wokha-35, Mokokchung-22, Zunheboto-14, Longleng- 16, Phek-39, Tuensang-164, Kiphire-40, Mon-147 and Peren-359. During the inspection, officials including state APC, who is also in-charge of Dimapur district for COVID-19 activities Y. Kikheto Sema, DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi, Commissioner Police Rothihu Tetseo, CMO Dimapur Dr. Tiasunep, DPRO Dimapur Lolano Patton, Food committee convenor, Avonuo and others also discussed in detail about transportation to other districts. DIPR report stated that the lunch for all the returnees will be sponsored by deputy chief minister, Y. Patton.
99 stranded citizens arrive on May  21
 Altogether 99 stranded citizens arrived Dimapur on May 21 from various places.
According to DIPR, 57 persons arrive from New Delhi and Dibrugarh by train, 15 from Sikkim and 16 from Guwahati by bus and 11 from Guwahati by private vehicles. 
So far 1735 stranded citizens have arrived Nagaland till date.
