Officials on visit to Nagaland for assessment of AIDS response

A team comprising of officials from NACO, CDC, FHI360, Share India, I Tech and PHFI team led by Dr. Shobini Rajan, ADG TI & SI, NACO is in Nagaland state for rapid assessment of status on AIDS response from February 9 to 14. 

A press release from Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) project director Dr. Ngangshimeren stated that, the team visited Dimapur District Hospital where they interacted with CMO, MS and their team of the district health officers and senior doctors on February 10. 

The team visited ART Plus centre, ICTC, OST Centre, Red Ribbon Clubs of SD Jain College and Pranabananda Women’s college, TI NGOs- Bethesda Youth Welfare Society, CAD FIDU- Westyard colony and Guardian Angel. Team also called upon and briefed DC Dimapur Anoop Kinchi about their visit and discussed various issues regarding HIV intervention programmes in Dimapur district. 

Team will also be visiting Tuensang, Noklak, Mokokchung and  Kohima over the next few days.
