Under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, a Painting competition was organized at town Hall Mokokchung January 27.
Being held on the theme “Indan bhachao, Jan Dan Badhao”, the programme was organized by Indian Oil Co-operation to commemorate oil & gas conservation fortnight celebrated every year from January 16- 31 all over the country. Altogether, 45 students from Mayangnokcha government higher secondary school participated in the competition.
In commemoration of the 15th oil & gas conservation fortnight, a walkathon from police point to Imkongmeren Sports Complex would be conducted January 28, 7 a.m., where people from all walks of life could participate. Banners, gifts, vouchers, caps and refreshment will be provided.
