Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office Kohima, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, organised a photo exhibition on Integrated Communication and Outreach programme of nine years of Seva Sushasan & Garib Kalyan and systematic voter’s education and electoral participation at Dimapur Government College on March 5.
According to DIPR report, Vinekho Tetso, Revenue Officer, Dimapur in his address highlighted some of the schemes were provided to poor farmers and youth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the past nine years have unveiled the latent potential of India and brought the ‘Nation-First’ motto to the core of governance. E. Lichumthung Kikon, Asst Prof. Department of Commerce, DGC termed electoral process as one of the major unifying activities for Indian citizens and pointed out right to vote as one of the few pillars of democracy.
