Educational empowerment training program was held under the aegis of International Research Exchange Board, US Government, Washington for government and private school teachers at Chessore from March 23 to 25.
A press note by chairman, Little Star Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur, Nini Sekhose stated that the three alumni of the International Leaders in Education Program hosted by the US Govt. last year were the resource persons for the training.
Thirty seven government and private school teachers attended the three-day training along with two private schools and four govt. schools.
The resource persons were Fr. Francis Yimso, St. Christopher School, Chessore, Christina Neikhrienuo, Little Star Hr. Secondary School, Dimapur and Tonika Yepthomi, Govt. High School, Diphupar ‘B’.
All the participants enthusiastically participated in the workshop and wished that more such opportunities would be provided in the near future.
