DIMAPUR, JUN 6 (NPN): Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs)– IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL– have assured steady and uninterrupted supplies of petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across Nagaland despite a rise in demand.
According to a PIB release, the oil industry remains fully geared to ensure seamless availability of fuels through its extensive supply network comprising terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets.
The release stated that fuel dispensing operations were continuing smoothly across all retail outlets and supplies were being maintained without any restrictions, in line with prescribed safety and operational norms.
It informed that adequate stocks of petroleum products were available across the supply chain and replenishment was being carried out continuously to meet consumer demand efficiently.
LPG supplies to domestic consumers were also being maintained normally, with deliveries progressing smoothly across the state.
OMCs said they were closely coordinating logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access to consumers. The overall supply situation, it added, remains stable and under constant monitoring.
Consumers have been requested to continue normal purchasing behaviour and avoid unnecessary panic buying.
The companies also advised the public to rely only on official communications issued by OMCs for authentic and verified information regarding fuel availability.
