DIMAPUR, MAY 20 (NPN): Public sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) — IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL — have assured uninterrupted supply of petrol, diesel and LPG across Nagaland, stating that fuel dispensing operations were continuing normally without any restrictions despite prevailing global uncertainties impacting the oil and gas sector.
According to a PIB release, adequate stocks of petroleum products were available across the supply chain and replenishment was being carried out continuously to meet genuine consumer demand efficiently.
The release stated that the oil industry remained fully geared to ensure seamless fuel availability through its network of terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets, while LPG deliveries to domestic consumers were also progressing smoothly across the state.
PIB further informed that OMCs were closely coordinating logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access and that the overall supply situation remained stable and under constant monitoring.
Citizens have been urged to avoid panic buying and continue normal purchasing behaviour, while relying only on official communications issued by OMCs for authentic information related to fuel availability.
