On day seminar on “Christian home” was organised by Okotsoe Mission Society (OMS) in collaboration with Kohima zone OMS on June 26 at DBS Sector Church, Kohima Lotha Baptist Church (KLBC).
A press note by Kohima Okotsoe Ekhung chairman, Yantsao Murry stated that Dr. L. M. Murry, former director, H&FW and present president of Medical Council of Nagaland, gave a short devotion and spoke on the mission.
Rev. Dr. Ezamo Murry, former principal ETC, Jorhat spoke on “role of family in extending the Kingdom of God”, Rev. Mathung Yanthan, pastor KLBC spoke on the “Role of parents in building Christ centred Christian home”, Rev. R. P. Murry former pastor Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur and former finance secretary NBCC spoke on the “role of wife and mothers in building Christ centred Christian home”, Rev. J. T. Lotha former pastor KLBC, chairman OMS and presently One Challenge International missionary spoke on the “role of children in building Christ centred Christian home”.
The programme director of the seminar was deputy secretary Nchumbemo Lotha while programme was moderated by Thungchibemo Lotha, reader, SCERT, Kohima. The recorders of the programme were Athunglo Merry and Athungbeni Ngullie.
Altogether 110 members from Kohima Okotsoe, in-laws, and KLBC attended the seminar. The resource persons of the programme were very prominent church elders from Lotha community.
