An FIR was lodged at North Police station Kohima on March 23 by proprietor of Naga Hotel located at High School Junction, Kohima wherein five unknown miscreants who posed as members of an underground outfit, had forcibly taken three LPG cylinders on March 21.
SDPO Kohima Atu Zumvu NPS informed in a release that one Dipen (34 yrs) son of late Sondi Boro, Vill- Naojan, PO/PS- Sarupathar, dist- Golaghat, Assam, P/Add- Nagabazar, Kohima was arrested and cylinders recovered on March 23.
A regular case vide Kohima North P.S Case No. 0025/16 U/S 416/380/34 IPC was registered against him and other absconding accused and the accused was remanded into police custody for conducting further investigation.
