On basis of a complaint made by a shopkeeper owner located at PR Hill, Kohima, one Manju Sahani, son of Shankar Sahani of Gitary village in Motihari, Bihar, and residing at D Block, Kohima, was arrested by the police on January 17 at around 11:30 hrs for stealing one bag of dry chilly (approx 50 Kgs).
Accordingly, he has been charged under 380 IPC and remanded to judicial
custody.
