Dimapur police have arrested one person with huge quantity of explosive during surprise frisking from Dimapur Railway Platform No. 2 on January 15 at around 11 a.m.
The accused person has been identified as Granil Abor (39), son of Longliten Abor of Muolhoi village in Dima Hasao, Assam. Police recovered 800 nos of Gelatin sticks, 1800 nos of SOD detonator fuse and 40 rolls of fuse wire (Approximately 35 feet each).
Accordingly, the Officer-in-Charge of GRPS, Dimapur, has registered a regular case vide Dimapur GRPS C/No. 0002/15 U/S 5 Explosive Substance Act and investigation is on.
