One person was killed while another one was injured when the vehicle (Bolero) bearing registration number NL-07 7002, they were travelling on, went off road and fell into the river under Nagarjan bridge.
According to officer-in-charge (OC) of Traffic zone-I, Dimapur, the mishap reportedly took place at around 12:15 a.m. and the deceased, who died on the spot, has been identified as one Kughato Yeptho (36), son of Phuto, a resident of Zhekishe village, Niuland Dimapur. The injured has been identified as one Kiheto Zhimomi, a resident of Thilixu village, Dimapur. The OC further said that after necessary examination on the dead person was conducted the case had been handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur.
