In a joint operation, security forces with police apprehended an active cadre of NSCN (R) on June 10 at general area Padampukhuri, Dimapur district.
A press release by PRO (defence) stated that the operaiton was carried out based on a specific input during which an active cadre of NSCN (R) was apprehended and one point 22 pistol with magazine, five live rounds of point 22, and three cases of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) were recovered.
PRO informed that the apprehended individual along with recovered items have been handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur district for further investigation.
