Online lecture at Rangapahar

Indian army organised an online lecture and video screening at Army Public School Rangapahar Military Station and St. John’s College Dimapur on August 21 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the India’s success in liberating Bangladesh in 1971. 

According to PRO (Def) Kohima, Lt Col Sumit K Sharma, the screening of audio video display for students showcased the valor and accomplishment of Indian Army and encouraged the students to serve the nation by joining the defence services. 

The event was held with a view to spread awareness among the youth regarding Indian armed forces and its history and standards of military ethos.

A total of 390 students and 35 teachers participated in the event.
