APO: Angami Public Organisation (APO) called upon all the Nagas to earnestly adhere to the election model code of conduct as per the ECI guidelines and maintain peace and harmony in throughout the election.
In a press note by president APO, Dr. Kepelhusie Terhiija and secretary, information and publicity, Neithono Sothu stated that in view of the ensuing assembly election for February 27, the governing body of APO had meeting on February 20 and decided to appeal to the citizens of the state to fully support the clean election movement being spearheaded by the Nagaland joint Christian forum (NJCF) and has invited all citizens to imbibe it and exercise their franchise.
Further, APO appealed to all to conscientiously and sagaciously use their mind to elect God fearing, honest and capable leaders to represent Nagas.
NMH: In compliance to the clean election campaign and to ensure peaceful election in the colony, New Ministers’ Hill (NMH) Panchayat and youth organisation has resolved that no individual or group other than the genuine colony voters shall be entertained or allowed to enter the colony on the polling day February 27. A press note by NHM panchayat chairman Neibo-o Kire and NHM youth president, Ukhruzo stated that the resolution was resolved on February 22 during joint meeting.
