CRPO Dmu: Chizami Range Public Organization (CRPO) Dimapur has condemned the alleged murder of late Lisila Chakhesang on May 18 by her husband, sub-inspector (SI) Zunheboto Imti Meren Chang. In a condemnation note, the organization said the accused should be prosecuted and given a befitting punishment according to the law. It also urged the responsible authority not to grant bail to the accused. CRPO also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
WCMA: Western Chakhesang Mother’s association (WCMA) also vehemently condemned the alleged murder of late K.Lishila Chakhesang on May 18 by her husband Sub-Inspector (SI) Imti Meren Chang. Expressing shock and anguish that a husband who was supposed to protect his wife and children committed such a heinous act, WCMA said such act had no place in a civilized society and should be condemned by all. It appealed to the responsible authority to award befitting punishment to the accused. Further, WCMA has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
CYO Diphupar: Chakhesang Youth Organization (CYO) Diphupar has condemned alleged murder of K Lisila Chakhesang on May 18 by one Imti Meren Chang (sub-inspector, Zunheboto Police Station).
In a press release, CYO president Kolhi Wetsah stated that the accused should be prosecuted and be given befitting punishment according to the law and requested the responsible authority not to grant bail to the accused.
Meanwhile, CYO has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
JTWWO: Jalukie Town Women Welfare Organization (JTWWO) has strongly condemned the rape of a mentally challenged and mother of eight by Kiedai Dwaswang of Ngwalwa village on May 17. In a press release, JTWWO president Atwa Meru termed as “intolerable and uncalled for” the act committed by the accused. It appealed to the law enforcing authority to award befitting punishment to the accused and requested all responsible not to grant him bail.
BLIK: Benreu Lui Ikumtsa Kangbau (BLIK), Peren District, has strongly condemned the “heinous act” of one Kiedai Dwaswang, son of late Kikiebe Dwaswang of Ngwalwa village, who allegedly raped a “mentally challenged” mother of eight children at her residence on May 17.
In a release, BLIK president Heilusing Iheilung appealed to all responsible to condemn such “atrocities and sexual assault against women”. It also urged upon the law enforcing authorities to award him befitting punishment as per law of the land so such inhuman act was never repeated.
