Various organisations have condemned DC Kiphire, A. K. Ranjan for verbally abusing the USLP general secretary during the aspirational district committee meeting on January 22.
KDGBU: Kiphire District GBs Union (KDGBU) in a condemnation note by Lkm-Chare GBs Union president Chubangangshi called on the government to take up the matter seriously and take punitive measure to remedy the wrong. Lkm-Chare Area GBs Union further extended its fullest support and cooperation towards the demand placed by USLP.
SASSU: Sitimi Area Sangtam Students’ Union (SASSU) in a condemnation note by president, Edward Sangtam has strongly condemned the incumbent deputy commissioner Kiphire for displaying arrogant attitude towards the general secretary United Sangtam Likhüm Pümji. In this regard, the SASSU appeals the state government to take stern action against the concerned DC as demanded by USLP and extended unflinching support and cooperation to USLP till the demand was fulfilled.
DCC: District Congress Committee (DCC) Kiphire in a condemnation by president Khaseo Sangtam stated that it stood strongly in solidarity with the demand for removal of deputy commissioner Kiphire within seven days called by USLP. DCC Kiphire also expressed utter resentment and dismay over the alleged act of humiliation and called for immediate action over the matter.
