Oriental College Kohima has organised Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Aligning Personal and Professional Development with Institutional Objectives” with Controller of Examinations, St. Joseph College (Autonomous), Jakhama, Dr. Dominic Meyieho, as the resource person.
Meyieho emphasized that teaching is a sacred profession, where success is measured by effective learning. He said that the achievement of learning outcomes is directly linked to well-defined teaching objectives, reinforcing the belief that every student is capable of learning.
Outcome-Based Education (OBE) serves as a model for ensuring quality education, with legislation mandating its implementation in all schools.
