Tsungiki Student Union (TSU) has strongly condemned the May 22 incident where some miscreants burned down the private residence of Tsungiki Village Council, chairman, Janthungo Kikon.
In a condemnation note, TSU described the incident as a blatant and immoral act which not only threatened and endangered the lives of the family but created unrest and hampered the peaceful atmosphere within the village.
Further, the union has urged the concerned authority to intervene and apprehend the culprit(s) and deliver justice without fail.
