OTS & DMC initiative for a clean Dmu

Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS) in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) painted Dimapur’s landmark flyover over Railway station on Saturday.
The landmark flyover was cleaned, washed and painted by the OTS along with local youth volunteers and Covenant Institute Dimapur who were invited by the OTS.
Extending manpower towards DMC for “A better Dimapur” project, OTS associate professor Dr. Sashi Jamir stated that “theology informs us to take care of the place that we live in and this act of involvement in cleaning and giving a facelift to our city is an expression of faith”.
Jamir lauded DMC administrator Moa Sangtam for his vision and commendable job for a clean Dimapur. He said that one could provide the manpower while the DMC could provide the resources for a common goal.
OTS had earlier this year painted the old Dhansiri Bridge, which they had adopted and will continue to maintain the same.
