Outlaws FC outclass Medziphema Football Academy 7-3 in CDFA League

CHÜMOUKEDIMA, AUG 4 (NPN): The 10th match of the 2nd edition of the CDFA League-cum-Rokonicha Champions Trophy, played at Chümoukedima Football Stadium, witnessed an entertaining goal-fest as Outlaws FC registered a commanding 7-3 victory over Medziphema Football Academy on Tuesday.
Outlaws FC made a blistering start to the match with Ketouselie opening the scoring in the 2nd minute before Thanglenhao doubled the lead in the 10th minute. Medziphema Football Academy fought back through Manpei, who reduced the deficit in the 25th minute, while Petesizo added another goal in the 44th minute to keep his side in contention before the break.
Medziphema Football Academy continued their resurgence after halftime with Viketoto finding the net in the 50th minute. However, Outlaws FC responded emphatically as Lunmingou struck in the 57th minute before Lima added another in the 69th minute. Lunmingou then completed a brilliant hat-trick with goals in the 83rd and 84th minutes, while Lima sealed the emphatic victory with his second goal in stoppage time (90+1 minute).
Lunmingou (jersey No. 7) of Outlaws FC was adjudged the Player of the Match for his outstanding hat-trick performance.
The match patron for the fixture was Commandant, 22nd Assam Rifles, Col. Kartik Thapa Bahadur.
Meanwhile, Match 11 of the tournament will be played at 3:30 pm between Medziphema Football Academy and Medziphema United FC with general secretary NPF, 5th Ghaspani-II, Semato Zhimo, as the match patron.
