The Hornbill Festival, which ended on Sunday, witnessed a footfall of 1,54,057 tourists. According to Economics & Statistics officer Sedevizo Ziephru a total of 2108 foreign tourists, 37089 domestic and 114860 local tourists visited the festival.
The last day of the festival (December 10) recorded the highest turnout with 28708 visitors. Though the third-day witnessed the highest inflow of foreign tourist at 423, the numbers significantly dropped to 93 on the last day.
