Over 100 dogs vaccinated at anti-rabies camp

DIMAPUR

An Anti-Rabies Vaccination Camp was conducted on October 18 at the residence of the treasurer, Joint Council Forum (JCF), Middle Point, under the initiative of the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services in collaboration with JCF comprising Middle Point, Churches Colony and NST Colony.
According to a press release issued by JCF secretary Omega G Naga, over 100 dogs were vaccinated during the camp, aimed at safeguarding pet owners and the wider community from rabies while promoting public health.
JCF extended gratitude to Deputy Director Dr. Michael Imti Imchen, Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Bocto Sumi, and their team for their dedicated service and support in executing the drive. The Forum also acknowledged the cooperation of the three council members and residents whose active participation contributed to the success of the event.
