Pungro Area College Students’ Union (PACSU) has welcomed the resumption of Dimapur to Pungro via Phuvkiu village night service with effect from October 4.
The union while extending appreciation to the state government said that the bus service from Dimapur to Pungro discontinued since December 2017.
However, the department in respond to the appeals made by civil societies has allotted brand new 27-seater bus.
PACSU expressed hope that the resumption of bus service will extensively relieve the transportation problem faced by commuters especially the students.
Meanwhile, the union, on behalf of general public of Pungro sub-division, thanked Nagaland State Transport under the supervision of minister for Transport, and general manager NST, for the addressing the grievances of the general public.
