Painting and essay competitions on ‘Healthy Living’ in Kohima

Department of Municipal Affairs under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) – housing for all, conducted a one-day painting competition and essay competition as part of the ongoing ‘Angikaar-a campaign for change management” on Friday in Kohima.

Students from Stella Higher Secondary School, Dainty Buds, Nagaland Police Central School, Model Higher Secondary School and Government Primary School Keziekie took part in the painting competition on topic “Healthy Living” at Kohima Municipal Council hall.

In the essay competition, Stella Higher Secondary School, Dainty Buds and Model Higher Secondary School took part on “Healthy Living” at DC Conference Hall, Kohima.

The results for both the events will be declared on December 10 on the culmination of the campaign, an official informed. It may be noted that Angikaar-a is a campaign for change management. The campaign will converge with schemes and missions of other Ministries dealing with the stated subjects.

The convergence would especially focus on Ujjwala for gas connection and Ayushman Bharat for health insurance to the beneficiaries of PMAY (U).
