MCM land issue:
Following the controversy over the proposed site for the upcoming Medical College Mon (MCM), minister in-charge of Mon district P Paiwang Konyak has convened a meeting of Konyak legislators at Dimapur meeting on March 11.
Informing this to Nagaland Post, the minister said the meeting was called to deliberate and try to resolve the land issue. Asserting that it was the desire of the legislators to resolve the land issue amicably without any delay, he however cautioned that if the issue remained unresolved, then the meeting would deliberate on alternate arrangements.
Till such time he appealed to all section of society, individuals and groups not to flare up the issue until the matter was resolved.
